It’s your home, your plan, your life. We’re honored to help you build it.
Whether you want to recapture the grandeur of a traditional home or create a new, modern, one-of-a-kind space, we believe your home should be all about you. Our team is ready to go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with every aspect of your project.
The residential contractors at Hamish Murray Construction specialize in both home remodeling and new construction. No matter what kind of project you are planning, our goal is to help you get a beautiful, functional home that matches your personality and lifestyle. Are you getting ready to refresh a tired, outdated kitchen? Are you planning a brand-new luxury home with modern flair and complex architectural elements? Here’s how we can take your vision and make it your home:
Every detail matters.
We ensure you get a result you love by planning every aspect of your project in advance. No unknowns, no surprises.
Careful planning allows us to identify and resolve issues, firm up your estimate, and narrow the project timeline. It’s far easier to move lines on paper than walls on a jobsite. That doesn’t mean our planning process is rigid, though. We let you customize the process of designing and developing plans for your new space.
Your goals come first.
While some contractors require you to work with a specific designer or choose from a limited set of plans, we don’t work that way. Have you already been collaborating with an architect or designer? No problem! Don’t have an architect yet? We’d be happy to work with you to finalize your plans. We can even introduce you to one of our long-standing design partners.
We keep your project running smoothly.
When you work with us, the same Project Manager will be involved from the beginning of the planning phase until the finishing touches are complete. Both remodels and new construction projects work better when the same person who develops the scope and budget is also there to implement. This also means you have the same friendly, responsive point person to reach out to with any questions that come up throughout the process.
- Flexibility – We adjust our process to meet your individual needs and make sure that you’re comfortable every step of the way.
- Professionalism – You’ll get to work with our carefully chosen team of professionals. They are all talented, experienced, and dedicated.
- Trust – We’ve built our reputation for excellence on high-quality craftsmanship and clear communication. Our clients know we’ll do what we say.
When it comes to remodeling, nobody likes surprises. We have extensive experience with both modern homes and traditional homes, so we understand the specific needs and challenges of each. In fact, we have worked on enough older houses that we can anticipate many issues in advance, which helps us keep our budgets and timelines accurate throughout the remodel process. Whether it’s creative wiring from the 1800s or foundation issues due to 1950s cinder block, we can handle whatever eccentricities your home offers up. We know how to transform your home into a more functional space while retaining its original charm.
